				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Sunday School classes will resume at St. Paul beginning Feb. 10 at 10 a.m.</p>
<p>We will be grouping the classes a little differently. The youth and children classes will meet in the cafeteria at the old Pomaria school on Folk Street and the adult classes will meet in the auditorium. Toddlers to kindergarten will meet in one group. Grades 1-5 will meet in a group. Middle and high school will meet in one group. Three adult classes will be combined into one group and will be led by Rick Caston, Lindy Richardson and Stanley Shealy.</p>
<p>We have been missing you and are very excited to see everyone back in Sunday School. If you have not attended Sunday School in a while, we would love to have you back to make our Sunday School bigger and better.</p>
<p>Let’s all come out and have a fun time as we learn about Jesus. If you have any questions or suggestions please contact Cindy Huyck or committee members Becky Boland, Lynn Graham, Janna Richardson, Julie Smith, Shannon Smith and Alison White.</p>

<p><strong>WELCA is now collecting BOX TOPS </strong>for Education and Campbell ’s Soup labels to be donated to the local schools. There will be an envelope on the bulletin board for you to drop them in.</p>

<p><strong>WELCA will be collecting any cell phones </strong>you are ready to donate to SISTERCARE in Columbia . SISTERCARE is the domestic violence shelter that serves Newberry County victims of domestic violence. They are able to take old cell phones, refurbish them (removing all your personal data), and give them to victims to use in case of an emergency call to 911 only.</p>

Pomaria church is host site for the event that runs from Sunday through Friday.See Cindy Huyck for more information. Volunteers are needed for crafts, Bible study and in the kitchen.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;" align="center">There will be groups for all ages including: children ages one and up, middle school and high school students and there will be classes for adults. Come hungry, because supper is served at 6:00. There will be music, games, crafts, Bible study and more&#8230; something for everyone. So please come out to our Vacation Bible School and bring a friend if you can.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A church pictoral directory is being planned.  Olan Mills will be photographing the directory on Thursday, October 6th from 2:00 pm to 9:30pm; Friday, October 7th from 2:00 pm until 9:30 pm; Saturday, October 8th from 9:30 am until 5:30 pm; and Tuesday, November 1st from 2:00 pm until 9:30 pm.  Each family photographed will receive one complimentary 8 x 10 custom portrait.  We hope everyone will make an appointment to be photographed for our 250th Anniversary Directory.  Appointments will be made at the church and by phone starting September 11th.  Call Carolyn Richardson for more information (276.2947).</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>St. Paul is hosting Old Time Sunday on July 24th and following the service there will be a BBQ meal.  Tickets are $7 for adults and $3 for children.  Hash is $6.50/qt. and take out plates are $7.  The buffet menu includes chicken, rice, Carold Wicker&#8217;s and Debbie Werts&#8217; hash, homemade cole slaw, bread, pickles, tea, and dessert.  Church members can contact Carold and Judy Wicker or Paul and Debbie Werts 364.9345 for tickets.  Any money made from the BBQ sale will go to publishing the St. Paul 250th Anniversary book, maintenance of our cemetery, and the completion of our picnic shelter/playground area.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Sunday, June 19th, is Father&#8217;s Day.  St. Paul Lutheran Men in Mission once again is accepting free will donations from people wishing to have recognition of fathers placed in a bulletin insert that Sunday.  Donations will be used to support mission congregations in our synod.  The Deadline for submitting the form that was in the May newsletter is June 13th.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Please join us this Thursday at 7:30 p.m. for Maundy Thursday worship with Holy Communion.  The homily will be on the final words of Christ from the cross, &#8220;Father, into your hands I commit my Spirit.&#8221;</p>
<p>On Friday, April 22nd we invite you to join us for our Good Friday Service of Tenebrae at 7:30 p.m.    Please plan to be present at these worship services during the most sacred week of the church year.</p>
<p>Our Easter sunrise service will be at 7:00 a.m. and be followed by breakfast served by our Lutheran Men in Mission.  Sunday school will follow at 9;45 a.m. and regular worship will be held at 11:00 a.m.</p>
