PALS is our group for children aged kindergarten through fifth grade. In September, we focused on team work and sharing our talents with others. We worked as two groups and tried to wrap a present with one hand behind our backs. The second activity was to make a circle and hold hands. We had to pass a hoola hoop all the way around the circle without letting go of hands. We ended with ice cream Sundaes. Everyone had a good time.
Our October activity was to go to Camp Kinard to their “Fall Fun Fest.” We took a hayride, selected a mini pumpkin, and played at their playground.
For November, we collected items for our local animal shelter. We plan to visit the shelter and deliver our “goods.”
In December, we participated in the children’s Christmas program.
